AgiLAB emulates a complete industrial production process to scale according to Industry 4.0 and Smart Factory criteria.
It emulates a complete Smart Manufacturing process, in which all technologies are integrated into a digitally interconnected environment, featuring its own tailor-made Manufacture Execution System.
AgiLAB optimises the production process, ensuring maximum efficiency and environmental sustainability.
Currently, AgiLAB is programmed to replicate the manufacturing process of a hot drink.
Watch how the ordered drink is prepared and delivered to you, along with a coaster personalised with your name.
Learn, emulate, manage: experience the Smart Factory paradigms in an interactive laboratory environment.
Observe the scaled-down process and imagine applying those same technologies in your company: from Additive Manufacturing to CNC, from Robotics to Manufacturing Execution Systems, from Machine Vision to Energy Efficiency…
The Cartesian Robots manage the raw materials warehouses and, directed by the Artificial Vision System, pick up the coaster that will be customised from the randomly organised warehouse.
Once an order is launched, the Cartesians receive instructions from the MES regarding their Handling missions and Robot-to-Robot interactions, which are necessary to grab and move the cup and the coaster.
The cartesian robot A manages the randomly organised warehouse and the coasters warehouse, while the cartesian robot B deals with the cups’ warehouse.
Our experimental Anthropomorphic Robot can move objects by carrying out both traditional Handling missions and Machining 3D G-code toolpaths.
The CAM-Robot, managed by a Keba system, is directly interfaced with AgiLAB MES / MOM and with our G-code interpreter software (DIN66025)
By launching an order, the robot receives from the MES the instructions regarding its Handling missions and Robot-to-Robot interactions, necessary to grab and move the cup and the coaster
Furthermore, being directly interfaced with our G-code interpreter software, the CAM-Robot personalises the coaster by writing your name on it, acting exactly like a CNC machine.
Convenient, compact, and efficient: Jobot reduces the waiting time for the materials needed for production.
It’s ideal when used in complex environments: its navigation software makes it capable of mapping and recognising every environment, avoiding unexpected obstacles, calculating optimal routes, and recalculating alternative routes in real time.
Managed by our Fleet Management Software, Jobot also knows how to precisely self-orientate.
Interfaced with the AgiLAB Manufacturing Execution System, Jobot will be your self-guided robotic waiter.
It manages all material movements in an optimised way; furthermore, thanks to the various graphic dashboards, it allows you to keep the production data under control in real-time.
Utilising data from the Bill of Material and the Bill of Operations, the Manufacture Execution System carries out the optimised scheduling of production orders and guides the various robots.
It coordinates the fragmented production batches, always different, both in the taste of the drink and in the personalised writing requested on the coaster.
